Warranty Plus

  • Warranty Plus is an upgrade from our standard 5-year warranty to our premium warranty. Well call it a"Five&One" because in addition to our standard warranty it offers unlimited free repairs for Five years and airline handling and transit damage cover for One year.

  • Every luggage product made by Robusto is manufactured to the highest industry standard and is covered by the standard “Robusto luggage (5) Year Warranty”. However, the Warranty Plus (“this Warranty”) applies only to our polycarbonate luggage (Currently our Ultima, Altima & Discovery range) and does not apply to products of non-polycarbonate composition i.e our discontinued. Roma or Vienna ranges.

    Our luggage is designed to be used for travel by air, car, train, boat, and foot. This warranty does not cover your luggage if you use it in a manner incompatible with it's intended design.

  • This warranty is non-transferable and is only available to the original purchaser.

    It does not extend to any subsequent owner or transferee of the product and is only valid on products purchased from Robusto luggage's website.

    This warranty currently applies to UK residents only. Proof of purchase is required to validate this warranty.

  • • Additional airline handling and transit damage cover for

    One year, the first 12 months of ownership.

    Warranty Plus Extends our Standard Five Year warranty - that covers defects that arise during the period ownership hereafter referred to as the ("Warranty Period") and expands it to cover unlimited repairs for Five years. Starting from the date of purchase, this warranty also provides coverage against defects in workmanship and materials.

    This includes

    • Cracks or breaks in the shell.

    • Broken wheels or wheels that do not function properly.

    • Handles, or telescoping handles that break off and are no longer usable.

    • Zippers that can no longer be opened or closed.

    For specialized or limited edition, discontinued or out-of-stock products under warranty, Robusto guarantees it will replace the item with a product at equal to or greater retail value and does not guarantee an exact replacement of the same limited edition, discontinued or out-of-stock item. If your product is “beyond repair”, we will suggest alternative options. The warranty period is not extended if we repair or replace the product.

    Robusto may change the scope and availability of this limited warranty at its discretion, but any changes will not be retroactive in effect.

    This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage that does not impact the functionality of your product, such as scratches, dents, or stains.

    It also does not cover damage caused by solvents, acids, neglect, abrasion, exposure to extreme temperatures, water.

    Loss of functionality due to consumers being locked out of their luggage or accidental damage or combination lock issues due to the incorrect setting of a combination lock, forgetting the combination lock number or deliberately forcing the lock open.

    It also does not cover theft or damage due to misuse including and not limited to overloading.

    After the first year of purchase, damage caused by an airline or courier service is not covered under this warranty.

    If your product is damaged by an airline or third-party service, please contact that company directly to file a claim. Incidental damages and losses are also not covered under this warranty. This warranty is only valid when the luggage is used normally for its intended purposes.

  • In the event of a defect and in order to get the benefit of this warranty, you must return your Luggage to Robusto and provide Robusto with proof of the original date of purchase. Should shipping costs be required to return your luggage, you will not be responsible for those costs.

    Evidence of a defect and any claims must be sent to us. Robusto will repair or replace (as applicable) and ship your luggage back to you within 30 days of receiving your original luggage. You will not be responsible for any shipping costs associated with shipping replaced or repaired luggage.

    Replaced or repaired Luggage is subject to the same limited warranty as the original Luggage. Locked Luggage locked can be shipped to a Robusto location to be unlocked by Robusto personnel. You will be responsible for any shipping and handling costs.

    If your warranty claim is submitted after the first year of ownership, you are responsible for the shipping costs to send your Robusto product to us for evaluation and repair, and Robusto will assume the return freight cost.

    If you require our Repair Services, please send an email to cs@robustoluggage.com. If the repair is covered under this warranty, we will, in our sole discretion, either repair or replace the product free of charge. Luggage may be provided in a color different from the luggage you originally purchased.

    If your warranty claim is submitted during the first year of ownership, Robusto will also pay for shipping to and from our repair facility.

    Robusto may be able to provide repair services for products that are out of warranty or not covered under this warranty. For uncovered repairs, you are responsible for all shipping costs to and from the designated service center. Robusto will provide you with an estimate of service costs for approval prior to repairing your Robusto product.

    We may change the scope and availability of this limited warranty at its discretion, but any changes will not be retroactive in effect.

    We reserve the right to void this warranty if we determine a claim to be dishonest or fraudulent.
